Sri Lanka have selected 15 players for a two-Test tour of Pakistan, part of the 2025–27 ICC World Test Championship cycle. Kusal Mendis is to take charge as Test captain for the first time, replacing Dhananjaya de Silva.

Wicketkeeper-batter Anjala Bandara and fast bowler Eshan Malinga have been called up to the Test team for the first time. Dinesh Chandimal returns after injury kept him out of Sri Lanka’s second Test against India. Pathum Nissanka is named, but will join the tour only if medical staff clear him to play.

The squad also features Pasindu Sooriyabandara, Kamindu Mendis, Sonal Dinusha, Keshara Nuwantha, Prabath Jayasuriya, Milan Rathnayaka, Lahiru Kumara, Asitha Fernando and Dilshan Madushanka. Five members of the group selected for the previous India Test series—Lahiru Udara, Kamil Mishara, Sahan Arachchige, Niroshan Dickwella and Vishwa Fernando—are not included this time.

The series is due to open in Rawalpindi on 9 November. Lahore is set to host the second Test from 17 to 21 November.
