Trump open to idea of joint meeting with Xi, Putin next month

Daily Mirror reports that US President Donald Trump said on Monday he was open to three-way arms-control discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, potentially as soon as next month. Ada Derana and Hiru News also report that Trump is open to a joint meeting with Xi and Putin.

Lankadeepa reports that Trump is prepared to hold talks with the two leaders alongside an economic cooperation summit scheduled in China for November 18–19. Daily Mirror describes the prospect as a possible meeting, but the reports do not establish that a date or arrangement has been confirmed.
