A new attack was reported at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Sunday. Saudi authorities said one person died and 11 were injured; Sri Lanka Mirror reported that the person killed was a Pakistani resident.
The incident came a day after a Houthi-claimed strike that reports said killed 13. Other Ada Derana headlines referred to further missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, but the supplied reports provide no additional details about those attacks.
Saudi Arabia extended the Riyadh airport shutdown until October 17, according to Newswire. The reports do not specify when airport operations are expected to resume after that date or provide further information about the injured.
