Litro Gas has issued a statement about supply problems affecting gas availability in the country, according to reports from Ada Derana and Hiru News.

Hiru News reported that Litro expected the shortage to ease by October 18 as new shipments arrived. A separate Hiru News headline said another shipment arrived and the company released 350,000 gas cylinders.

The reports do not provide further details about the cause of the disruption, the shipment’s size, or the areas and customers covered by the cylinder release.
