Lankadeepa reports that the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) warned of landslide danger in 10 districts because of heavy rain across Sri Lanka. Ada Derana (தமிழ்), Ada Derana (සිංහල) and Ada Derana also report NBRO advance alerts affecting areas in multiple districts.

Newsfirst reports red-level evacuation alerts for several local administrative divisions in Ratnapura, Kalutara and Nuwara Eliya. Hiru News also reports red warnings affecting parts of those three districts. Newsfirst’s report names Ratnapura, Ayagama and Pelmadulla among the places in Ratnapura.

Sri Lanka Mirror reports that the alerts apply from 4 p.m. on the 29th through 4 p.m. on the 30th. It lists a level-two amber warning for Kuruwita, Ayagama, Ratnapura, Pelmadulla, Elapatha and Opanayaka in Ratnapura District.

Sri Lanka Mirror reports level-one yellow alerts for Thawalama, Karandeniya, Niyagama, Neluwa and Elpitiya in Galle; Norwood and Ambagamuwa Korale in Nuwara Eliya; and Dodangoda and Bulathsinhala in Kalutara. The outlet also lists Kalawana, Nivithigala, Kiriella, Godakawela, Eheliyagoda and Balangoda in Ratnapura; Udunuwara and Yatinuwara in Kandy; and Aranayake, Yatiyanthota, Bulathkohupitiya and Mawanella in Kegalle.
